• General

  • My mirror is "locked up" and does not respond as expected.

    Power surges can disrupt the micro processor in home electronics. A reset will make your mirror regain full operation.

    • Unplug the mirror from its power source.
    • Insert the end of a paperclip or similar into the "RESET" port under the waterproof connector cover.

    The mirror should be ready to go!

  • No audio is playing via my Aux-In connection.

    • AUX IN audio works when audio is paused or disengaged on a connected Bluetooth device.

• Power

  • My mirror lights turn off on their own.

    The mirror is equipped with a power saving timer. The lights will automatically turn off after 25 minutes of non-use.

  • The USB port is not charging my device.

    • The mirror MUST be connected to the AC adapter to enable USB charging from the unit.

    Please note that the USB charging port delivers 1A (1 amp) of output. The 1A spec is compatible with iPhone's, iPod's, and other 1 amp devices. The USB port will charge 2.1A (2.1 amp) devices as well, albeit at a slower pace.

  • How long should I charge the battery?

    We recommend charging the battery for 4 to 6 hours to obtain a full charge.

  • How long will the rechargeable battery last with a full charge?

    permalink

    The battery will last up to 8 hours with a full charge with normal use.

    • Please note that battery life is dependent on volume level. The 8 hour specs are based on a 4 to 5 mid level volume range. Playing the volume consistently at maximum output will deplete the battery at a faster pace.

  • How many amps is the USB charging port?

    The USB charging port delivers 1A (1 amp) of output. The 1A spec is compatible with iPhone's, iPod's, and other 1 amp devices.

    • Please note that the USB amp will charge 2.1A (2.1 amp) devices as well, albeit at a slower pace.

  • Does the mirror have an Aux-In port?

    Yes, the mirror has an Aux-In port to hard wire external devices (cable included).

  • How big is the mirror?

    It's a 9 inch round double-sided mirror.

  • What is the mirror magnification?

    • One side is 1X (standard) magnification.
    • Other side is 7X (7 times) magnification.

  • How do I connect my mirror via Bluetooth?

    • Press and release the power / Bluetooth button to turn the speaker ON.
    • When the mirror is ON, press and hold the power / Bluetooth button for pairing mode, indicated by the blinking BLUE LED.
    • Select “iHome iCVBT7” on your device’s Bluetooth menu to connect.
