    • Can I use a remote control with this unit?

      No, this unit does not have a remote sensor.

    • What products are compatible with AUX-input?

      The Aux input 3.5mm - 1/8 inch is compatible with any analog-audio device outputting audio from a headphone or line-out jack connector.

    • What’s the warranty period for this product?

      Limited 1 Year Warranty: iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 1 Year from the date of original purchase.

    • Where can I buy a replacement CR2450 Clock Backup Battery?

      Battery CR2450 is standard 3.0 V Lithium Battery (620 MAh) and it can be purchase from our website or from most electronic store.

    • Can I use this unit in other countries?

      Yes. The power adapter is able to handle input voltage from 100 to 240VAC. You may need a plug adapter to convert for the overseas outlet. Different regions of the world use different FM radio frequency steps and ranges. You will need to select the one that matches the standards in your region (USA, EUROPE, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, or CHINA). The default setting is USA. For more information on our international iHome products, please visit www.ihomeintl.com.

    • The remote control was missing from the box?

      The remote control is an optional accessory which is not provided with the unit. To purchase this optional accessory please visit www.ihomeaudio.com select ‘Looking for parts & accessories” and enter you model number.

    • How to change the clock display to 12hr. mode or 24hr. mode (military time)?

      Press and hold “Clock Button” for 2 seconds. Press and release “Alarm 1 or 2 button” to select 12 or 24 hour display. Press clock button again (or no button within 10 seconds) and the settings are automatically saved.

    • Would I lose the time and alarm settings if I replace the backup batteries?

      NO, but make sure the AC adapter is connected. Otherwise, all settings may be lost during battery replacement.

    • What is “Sleep mode”?

      “Sleep mode” lets you fall sleep to your iPhone/iPod or radio, gradually lowering the volume until the unit shuts off at the selected time.

    • Can the unit operate on the back up batteries?

      The backup batteries only provide continuous clock and alarm operation in the event of a power failure. Other functions will not work.

    • Can the USB port charge Android devices?

      Yes, the USB port will charge most Android devices.

    • The unit keeps making a “beeping” sound.

      The unit has an auto-linking feature. The unit will attempt to auto-link to the last paired Bluetooth device when within a 30 foot range. The unit will emit a “beep” and will display the word “PAIR” on the screen.

      To prevent the unit from auto-linking, you may do either of the following: 1.Turn-off the Bluetooth function on your device (smartphone, etc.) 2.Delete the unit from your device when not listening to music. Pair the unit to your device when you want to listen to music.

    • Should I disconnect the unit if I am going on vacation?

      If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power cable should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage from power outage.

    • What is the wattage output?

      The unit produces 6 Watts of output.

    • I have the speaker connected via Bluetooth to my PC / Mac. However, I cannot hear any sound coming through the speaker?

      Make sure that you have selected this unit as your “playback” device on your PC or Mac.

      1. Windows 7/8/10: a. Right click on the speaker icon located on the bottom right of your screen b. Select playback devices c. Select the device you want to play and click OK.

      2. Mac: a. Click on System preferences icon b. Click on Sound c. Select Output d. Select “iHome unit stereo” for the output source, and adjust the output volume if necessary.

    • When paired if I turn the speaker to Bluetooth it takes a few seconds to connect or display the Bluetooth icon?

      This is normal, Bluetooth needs time to search and reconnect.

    • What is the difference between NFC Bluetooth and traditional Bluetooth on iHome models?

      The NFC Bluetooth feature shortens the steps needed to establish a Bluetooth connection between an iHome product and an NFC enabled mobile device. An NFC Bluetooth connection can be established by simply bringing the mobile device within a couple of inches of the iHome product.
