    • My speaker does not “turn-on.”

      The rechargeable battery needs to be fully charged prior to its first use. For best results, please charge the speaker for about 8 hours.

    • What products are compatible with AUX-input?

      The Aux input 3.5mm - 1/8 inch is compatible with any analog-audio device outputting audio from a headphone or line-out jack connector.

    • Why is the volume output lower when running on battery power versus when running on AC power?

      This is normal to conserve battery power.

    • Can the USB port charge Android devices?

      Yes, the USB port will charge most Android devices.

    • What’s the warranty period for this product?

      Limited 1 Year Warranty: iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 1 Year from the date of original purchase.

    • What is the wattage output?

      The unit produces 10 Watts of output.

    • What is the difference between NFC Bluetooth and traditional Bluetooth on iHome models?

      The NFC Bluetooth feature shortens the steps needed to establish a Bluetooth connection between an iHome product and an NFC enabled mobile device. An NFC Bluetooth connection can be established by simply bringing the mobile device within a couple of inches of the iHome product.

    • What is the amperage for the USB port?

      The amperage for the USB port is 1 Amp.

    • What is the function of the ECO switch?

      The ECO mode limits the volume output which will allow up to 14 hours of battery life when fully charged. However, the ECO mode is disabled if AC power is being used.

    • What can happen if the Air tight gasket is left CLOSED during air travel.

      The changes in cabin pressure may damage your speaker if the gasket is left closed. The air tight seal may not allow high pressure to escape. Simply leave the gasket open to prevent damage.

    • Can I charge a device via USB port while the unit is operating on rechargeable battery power only?

      Yes, the unit will charge USB devices while operating on rechargeable battery power. Please note that battery power will deplete very quickly if you are charging a device while playing music

    • Why does the speaker stop playing audio under water?

      Bluetooth signal cannot travel through water.

    • Can I connect anything to the speaker via hard wire while the speaker is in water?

      NO, any water coming in contact with the speaker terminals will damage the speaker. The Air tight gasket must be completely closed whenever the speaker is in or near water.

    • The unit is frozen or not operational

      Press and hold the reset port for 3 seconds, the blue light on the front flashes

    • What is the waterproof rating for this unit?

      The speaker is IPX7 waterproof rated, meaning it is immersible for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter (3.28 feet).
